The Evolution of Skill Games

Online poker and casino gaming sites are almost closed for entrepreneurs because of tough competition and a long line of heavy (financial and legal) restrictions. Bank on something else like skill games, which is gaining popularity in recent years.

In case online poker and casinos hit a snag (and they may very well be getting there), gaming companies can rely on new online entertainment classified only as Skill Games. Indeed, online casinos and poker, are very profitable but only to those who've set them up first. If you're a new to the industry and are planning to put up your own online poker, you might find it difficult these days to market up one.

Consider the extreme competition and several drawbacks like community restrictions and legal sanctions imposed by financial sectors, advocacy groups and legislators. Take for instance, credit card companies and banks strictly limit transactions that have to with gambling, which puts down the player value and conversion of their finances to 60%.

To compete against the old sharks and the so-called super-affiliates of online poker and casino gaming is almost impossible to surmount. For one thing, you have to begin as a giant of the industry yourself. If you make tens of thousands of dollars each month, then you can compete.

But why take that chance when there are other games to go for. Take for instance, skill gaming sites, which has boomed remarkably over the last 2 years. Because of skill gaming sites, a significant cut has been taken from online casino giants. A major factor of its success is due to its free downloadable software via a browser-based application.

On top that, the attraction of skill games can be due to the following:

The games reliability to skills instead of luck.

Players get to play against human players and not to computer software (because of the rapid development of software programs, playing against a computer are becoming unfair).

Skill games can also be played for money where the house gets a cut from buy-in fees only, like poker games.

Skill games come in many sorts like those with action (platform-based), linguistics (scrabble), puzzle (Bejeweled), etc. But, by far, the most popular of the skill gaming sites are those with a 4,000-year-old game known as Backgammon.

Although online backgammons have been in existence for 10 years, most have obsolete interface. One backgammon site, on the other hand, has changed all that. Today, GammonEmpire.com paved way for backgammon players around the world. The game features 3D graphics, tourneys, daily cash prizes, affiliate systems, and even a backgammon school for beginners and pros alike. As a skill game, GammonEmpire is raking a lot of dough because it has tough competition (yet) and it is promoted as a non-gambling site.

So if you're planning to put up a gaming site, it would be best to invest on something without defects and prohibitions. Bet on skill games. Better yet, invest on it.

High Stakes Poker Site and SEO Site

I had some fun today surfing the net and found a few other good sites. This time, I'm not just going to mention a poker site, but I'm also going to comment on a search engine optimization website that I found.

High Stakes Online Poker

I couldn't believe it when I found it, but this website clues us in on just what is going on in the high stakes online poker world. You can find out which professional poker players have been playing, and what their internet screen names are. I enjoyed reading the posts about TexasLimitKing, an unknown online poker player who plays for hundreds of thousands of dollars on the internet daily.

Professional Search Engine Optimization

A professional SEO has dedicated some of his free time into making a blog about search engine optimization. I really appreciate when people do this because there isn't much in it for them, and they get to tell me all of their secrets! Can't wait until this website blows up in Google some day...

Poker Articles

Hustle Cards is one of the internet's premier poker sites. The site emphasizes itself on being a database for many professionally written poker articles. Poker players of all types can expect to improve their game by reading the poker articles written by Hustlecards.com!

Rounder Staked

This site is newer, but seems to have everything ready to go. A little bit more content (and design) should make this a very reliable website for poker players to use as a resource.

Some great online gambling resources

Just wanted to note that I've found some really nice websites on the internet recently. I figured that I would share them with my readers. I especially enjoy PokerTeam.com because it doesn't have all those annoying flashing ads or anything. Enjoy!

Poker T-Shirt Store

I was surfing around the internet, basically because I was bored out of my mind, and I found something that really interested me. It was a poker t-shirts store called BotWear. Botwear manufactures more than just t-shirts. They sell poker apparel, hats, supplies, and other cool things.

Their slogan is "Bad Boys of the Table bring you a unique and bold, quality line of poker apparel, hats, t-shirts,accessories and more. Wearing BotWear expresses your feelings about poker without saying a word."

This really holds true for Botwear. It's incredible how unique their poker t-shirts and apparel is because nobody else seems to have such quality merchandise. Unlike most other poker supply stores, Botwear has a large selection which includes such items as dress shirts, t-shirts, sweat shirts, sports shirts, and tank tops. Most of these things couldn't be found at any other regular poker supply store. Most apparel comes in both Mens and Womens styles.

I just thought that I would post about this interesting website and I certainly hope that you can check it out and make a purchase that you are satisfied with.
